Scrub Style: BeneFit Medical

Hello All!

In this latest installment of my Scrub Style series I am highlighting BeneFit Medical Scrubs. This scrub line is advertised as being like no other scrub brand with their innovative and athletic appearance, fit, and material. After wearing a pair of BeneFit Medical's Helix design scrubs I can say with confidence that these scrubs are unlike any I have worn before.

The Helix Mid Protection Top  has a very sleek design and is made of breathable fabric that provides protection against spills with liquid resistant technology. Having a scrub top that is not boxy, has an adequate number of pockets, and moves with you while you are performing skills is very important to find. This shirt allows you to have all of those components that make a 12 hour shift that much easier.

The first unique detail to the Helix scrub top is that it has a breast pocket. Normally, only male scrub tops have breast pockets. This is an innovative and welcomed addition to the traditional woman's scrub top because it allows room for additional pens, alcohol pads, or a surface to clip your ID badge to.

The second unique detail that this scrub top provides is it's sleek black sides. The black fabric creates a color-block effect to the shirt that adds to it's slim appearance.

This shirt is very true to form and body hugging, making it the least boxy scrub top that I have worn to date. I wear a size small in this top; Benefit Medical advises it's customers to order a size larger in their items than you would any other scrub set, however, I normally wear a size small and comfortably fit into a size small in BeneFit Medical Scrub tops.

Here is a link to their size chart for both Men's and Women's Scrub tops: https://www.benefitmedical.com/sizing-chart/

BeneFit Medical also offers the option of messaging them on their Contact Page for questions about sizing: https://www.benefitmedical.com/contact-us/

Benefit Medical's Helix Scrub Bottoms are made of the same stretchy material as their top, making maneuvering during your shift extremely easy. This bottom also features traditional front pockets, with two added back pockets and two deep cargo pockets on each leg.

This scrub bottom has an athletic fit that matches the top. BeneFit Medical has given the traditional scrub bottom an update by creating a more slim leg, while still providing a flare at the end for adequate shoe coverage.

Overall, I find BeneFit Medical scrubs to be very high quality and to contain all of the components that are needed for an appropriate pair of scrubs. The flexible fabric allows comfort during even the most chaotic and active shifts, while the slimming appearance creates an air of confidence while you are wearing them because you do not feel like you are being engulfed by a boxy outfit. Each scrub component also comes in 16 different colors, allowing each health care provider to chose the best option for their unit policy. I would recommend these scrubs to any health care professional that is looking for an updated and comfortable scrub set that is made to last.

I loved having the opportunity to work with BeneFit Medical and provide information on another scrub brand. I hope that all of the reviews that I provide allow you to find the perfect scrub set for you as you continue your nursing journey!

Thank you so much for reading!
