With the new year, a new career, and a whole world ahead of me I have come to create a new social media campaign for all new nurses.
"New Year, New Nurse" (#newyearnewnurse) is a social media motion that is meant to unite, inspire, and highlight all of the new-graduate nurses. Whether you are six months into your new career (after graduating in May 2017) or just graduated in December and are starting off January taking NCLEX and searching for your perfect first RN job, all are welcome to join the journey.
Becoming a new graduate nurse is a moment that I've dreamed of for the past four and a half years, and now that it is finally here there is a fire within me to be successful and create a movement within the healthcare field.
My 2018 professional goals for this year include learning the ropes of a brand new nursing job, growing in my social media presence through new blog posts about being a new nurse, vlogging my new phase of life, and reaching out to help others through their own journey.
